A middleweight bout has been added to UFC 178 on September 27th in Las Vegas as Tim Kennedy will meet Yoel Romero.
The fight booking was initially reported by the Las Vegas Journal Review and has now been confirmed by the UFC.
UFC 178 will take place at an unknown venue in Las Vegas on September 27th and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.
Kennedy (18-4) is currently on a four fight winning streak and three of those wins have come in the UFC. His most recent victory came in April as he defeated Michael Bisping in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale.
Romero (8-1) has also won four in a row and started his UFC career with three straight victories coming by TKO. He is coming off a decision victory against Brad Tavares at UFC on FOX 11 and it was the first time he went to the decision in his career.
