UFC Fight Night 49 adds Beneil Dariush vs. Tony Martin and Walmir Lazaro vs. James Vick

Two bouts that were scheduled to take place at the now postponed UFC 176 have been shifted to UFC Fight Night 49 as Beneil Dariush meets Tony Martin and Walmir Lazaro faces James Vick.

UFC officials announced the change on Wednesday.

UFC Fight Night 49 will come from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 23rd and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as former champion Benson Henderson meets Rafael dos Anjos.

Dariush (7-1) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year and he submitted Charlie Brenneman at UFC Fight Night 35. He returned three months later and suffered his first career defeat as he stopped in the first round by Ramsey Nijem. Martin (8-1) open his career with eight straight victories and six of those victories came by submission. His UFC debut would come against Rashid Magomedov at UFC 169 in February and was defeated by decision.

Lazaro (12-2) is currently on a eleven fight winning streak and his last three wins have come by TKO/KO. Nine of his wins have come by TKO/KO and he has only gone to the decision three times in his career. Vick (5-0) won his official UFC debut last year as he defeated Ramsey Nijem by submission in 58 seconds. It was his fourth victory to come in the first round and it was his first win to come in under one minute.
