World Series of Fighting 11 Weigh-In Results: Melvin Guillard and Cody Bollinger miss weight

The World Series of Fighting 11 Weigh-Ins took place today in Daytona Beach, Florida and the lightweight title fight is now set as both fighters were on weight. WSOF 11 Poster

Today’s weigh-ins came from the Daytona Beach Hilton and tomorrow’s fight card will come from the Ocean Center.

The fight card will be headlined by a title fight as Justin Gaethje (154.8 lbs) makes his first lightweight title defense against fellow undefeated fighter Nick Newell (155 lbs).

Two fighters on the main card missed weight as Melvin Guillard weighed in at 159.4 pounds for his lightweight bout against Gesias Cavalcante. He was given two additional hours to make weight and missed weight on his second attempt at 157.2 pounds.

The other fighter on the main card to miss weight was bantamweight Cody Bollinger. He weighed in at 138.4 pounds for his fight against Pablo Alfonso and he will not attempt to make the bantamweight limit of 136 pounds. Both Guillard and Bollinger will be fined a portion of their purse by the Florida State Boxing Commission.
