Following the withdrawal of James Irvin from his bout against Brian Rogers in the co-main event of Bellator 125, the promotion has announced that Rogers will now meet former title challenger Brett Cooper.
The fight change was announced by Bellator on Friday afternoon.
Bellator 125 will come from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Doug Marshall meets Melvin Manhoef.
Cooper (20-10) is a two-time tournament finalist in Bellator and is coming off a submission defeat against Brandon Halsey at Bellator 122 in June. Rogers (11-6) is coming off a knockout victory at Bellator 119 against Adrian Miles and the victory snapped a two fight losing streak.
