UFC Fight Night 50 will take place in seven days and Chris Beal will now face UFC newcomer Tateki Matsuda following Dustin Kimura pulling out of the bout with an injury.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Friday morning.
UFC Fight Night 50 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut on September 5th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Gegard Mousasi meets Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza.
Matsuda (10-5) is out of Boston and has won back to back fights. His most recent win came earlier this month at CES MMA 25 as he scored his first career submission victory against Robbie Leroux.
Beal (9-0) came to the UFC during The Ultimate Fighter 18 and made his official debut with the promotion in April against Patrick Williams. He would win one of the performance of the night bonuses as he defeated Williams by knockout in the second round.
