James Irvin has pulled out of his Bellator 125 co-main event bout against Brian Rogers due to an undisclosed injury and the promotion is now seeing a new opponent to face Rogers on the September 19th show.
The withdraw of Irvin was confirmed to TheMMAReport.com by sources on Monday and Bellator has not made an official announcement at this time.
Bellator 125 will come from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Doug Marshall will meet Melvin Manhoef.
Irvin (17-10, 2NC) was scheduled to be making his Bellator debut against Rogers and it was going to be his first fight since April of 2012. Rogers (11-6) snapped a two fight losing streak earlier this year with a flying knee knockout victory against Adrian Miles and a new opponent for Rogers should be announced shortly.
The current Bellator 125: Marshall vs. Manhoef fight card is below.

Doug Marshall (18-7) vs. Melvin Manhoef (28-11-1, 1NC)
