Jerrod Sanders is dropping down two weight classes to the bantamweight division and he will make his 135 pound debut against Pedro Munhoz at UFC Fight Night 54 in Canada.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 54 will come from the Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on October 4th and will be headlined by Rory MacDonald meeting Tarec Saffiedine in a scheduled five round welterweight bout.
Sanders (14-2) made his UFC debut last month and was defeated by Yosdenis Cedeno in a lightweight bout. The defeat snapped a twelve fight winning streak and six of this career wins have come by submission.
Munhoz (11-1) was signed by the UFC earlier this year and lost his promotional debut to top title challenger Rafael Assuncao at UFC 170 in February. He returned at the end of May and defeated Matt Hobar by TKO in the first round at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale.
