Undefeated middleweight Scott Askham has signed with the UFC and he will make his promotional debut on October 4th in Sweden as he will face Magnus Cedenblad at UFC Fight Night 53. 
UFC officials announced the fight booking early this morning.
UFC Fight Night 53 will come from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on October 4th and the event will air on Fight Pass.
Askham (12-0) is from England and seven of his career wins have come by TKO/KO. His last five fights have entered the third round and he has scored stoppage victories in two of those fights. His most recent win came in June as he defeated Max Nunes in BAMMA.
Cedenblad (12-4) is from Stockholm and he has won back to back fights after losing his UFC debut to Francis Carmont in 2012. Both of his UFC victories have come by guillotine choke submission and he won the performance of the night bonus in his last bout against Krzysztof Jotko at UFC Fight Night 41.
