Lightweight Matt Wiman will be stepping into the octagon for the first time since the beginning of last year on November 22nd as he will meet Isaac Vallie-Flagg at UFC Fight Night 57 in Austin, Texas.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday evening.
UFC Fight Night 57 will come from the Frank Erwin Center on the campus of the University of Texas on November 22nd and the event will air live on Fox Sports 1.
Wiman (15-7) has been in the UFC since 2006 and has gone 9-5 in the promotion. Prior to losing to TJ Grant at UFC on FOX 6, he had won back to back fights and he won a fight night bonus in both of those fights.
Vallie-Flagg (14-5-1) has dropped back to back fights and his most recent lost came in April against Takanori Gomi in the fight of the night bonus winner at UFC 172. His last win came back in February of 2013 as he defeated Yves Edwards in his UFC debut.
