An undisclosed injury has forced Matthew Riddle to pull out of his Titan FC 29 vacant welterweight title fight against Ben Saunders and replacing him in the bout will be Jose Landi-Jons.
Titan FC officials confirmed the change on Tuesday evening to MMA Fighting.
Titan FC 29 will come from the Crown Coliseum in Fayettville, NC on August 22nd and the fight card will air live on the CBS Sports Network.
Landi-Jons (28-15) will be making his Titan FC debut and he has won five of his last six fights. Four of those victories have come in the first round by stoppage and his last fight took place in November of last year as he defeated Rodrigo Fernandez by TKO.
Saunders (16-6-2) will also be making Titan FC debut on this card and this will be his first fight since losing to Douglas Lima in the Bellator welterweight tournament. Prior to his second fight with Lima, he had won three in a row and two of those wins had come by TKO/KO in the first round.
