A welterweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night 54 on October 4th as Ultimate Fighter alum Nordine Taleb will meet Li Jingliang.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday.
UFC Fight Night 54 will come from the Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on October 4th and will be headlined by a welterweight bout as Rory MacDonald faces former Strikeforce champion Tarec Saffiedine.
Taleb (9-2) won his official UFC debut in April as he defeated Vik Grujic. It was his first victory since 2012 in Bellator. Five of his nine victories have come by TKO/KO and this will be the second time he fights in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Jingliang (9-2) also won his UFC debut earlier this year as he defeated David Michaud by split decision at UFC 173. It was his third straight victory and five of his nine wins have come by submission.
