An undisclosed injury has forced Sheldon Westcott to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 48 bout against Alberto Mina and replacing him in the bout will be UFC newcomer Shinsho Anzai.
The new fight booking was recently added to the official fight card on the UFC website.
UFC Fight Night 48 will come from the Cotai Arena in Macao on August 23 and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Cung Le meets Michael Bisping.
Anzai (8-1) is currently on a six fight winning streak and his last two wins have come in the first round by TKO. All six of his stoppage vitories have come by TKO and his only career defeat came in 2010 against Jerry Nelson by decision.
Mina (10-0) was scheduled to make his UFC debut earlier this year at The Ultimate Fighter China Finale, but the bout was scratched on the day of the weigh-ins. Eight of his ten wins have come in the first round and five of those wins have come by submission.
