Bellator 123 took place on Friday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and the main card on Spike TV was headlined by Patricio Pitbull winning the featherweight title with a decision victory over Pat Curran. 
The card also featured Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, Tamdan McCrory, Bobby Lashley, and Cheick Kongo walk away with stoppage victories on the televised card on Spike TV.

- Pitbull is now tied with Rick Hawn and Curran for the second most wins in Bellator history (10) and becomes the fifth fighter to win the Bellator 145 pound title.
- Curran now has the most cage time in Bellator history (3:19:39) and Pitbull has the sixth most cage time in Bellator history (2:26:02).
- With Lawal’s TKO win over Dustin Jacoby, he is now tied with Liam McGeary for the most TKO/KO wins in Bellator light heavyweight division history and is tied with McGeary and Attila Vegh for second most wins in the division.
- McCrory’s 21-second TKO win over Brennan Ward is now the fastest TKO/KO win in Bellator middleweight division history.
- Kongo has four wins in the Bellator heavyweight division and he is tied with Ryan Martinez for fourth most in divisional history.
- Mike Mucitelli’s 37-second armbar submission against Mark Griffin is the fastest submission in Bellator light heavyweight division and he now holds the Bellator record for most submissions in light heavyweight division competition.
- Pete Rogers Jr. scored the fastest TKO/KO win in Bellator featherweight division history with his 11-second KO over Phillipe Martins.
- Dan Cramer scored his eighth Bellator victory with a decision over Perry Filkins and he now has the second most wins in Bellator middleweight division history.
- Josh Diekmann defeated Mike Wessel in 47 seconds and this is now the 8th fastest TKO/KO win in Bellator heavyweight division history.
