A welterweight bout is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night 56 card on November 8th in Brazil as Colby Covington meets Wagner Silva.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC Fight Night 56 is expected to come from the Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil on November 8th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Jimi Manuwa.
Covington (6-0) won his UFC debut last month at UFC Fight Night 48 as he defeated Anying Wang by submission in the first round. It was his fourth career submission victory and he trains at American Top Team in South Florida. Silva (3-1) lost his official UFC debut at the end of May when he was submitted by Ricardo Abreu at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale. Two of his three wins have come by submission and both of those wins came in the first round.
