Daron Cruickshank vs. Anthony Njokuani announced for UFC Fight Night 54

A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 54 card on October 4th in Canada as Ultimate Fighter alum Daron Cruickshank will meet Anthony Njokuani. UFC Fight Night 54 Poster

UFC officials announced the fight booking on Thursday.

UFC Fight Night 54 will come from the Halifax Metro Centre on October 4th and will be headlined by Rory MacDonald meeting Tarec Saffiedine in a scheduled five round welterweight bout.

Cruickshank (15-5) entered the UFC in 2012 during The Ultimate Fighter 15 and has won five of his eight fights in the promotion. After winning back to back fights to start 2014, he was defeated in his last appearance at UFC on FOX 12 against Jorge Masvidal by decision.

Njokuani (16-8, 1NC) has gone 3-4 since entering the UFC in 2011 and his wins have come against Andre Winner, John Makdessi, and Roger Bowling. He will enter this fight following a defeat as he lost a decision to Vinc Pichel at UFC 173 in May.
