While everyone talks about McGeary’s strikes, he has an underrated ground game

McGeary is doing some seriously funky stuff off his back.

Liam McGeary is flashy on the ground and standing up. A little lacking polish though, no?

Adopted NYer Liam McGeary is really fun. A much needed young, exciting prospect in the Bellator light heavyweight division.

Emanuel Newton comes out to the DX theme and Joey Beltran does the Triple H water spit. What in the hell is going on here?
— Marc Raimondi (@marc_raimondi) September 13, 2014
This is the type of fight Beltran wants
— Jason Floyd (@Jason_Floyd) September 13, 2014
Oh my god.
— Dave Doyle (@davedoylemma) September 13, 2014
And the spinning back fist comes through for Newton. Holy smokes.
— Heidi Fang (@HeidiFang) September 13, 2014
So I guess Newton wasn’t lying when he said the King Mo spinning back fist wasn’t a fluke.
— Marc Raimondi (@marc_raimondi) September 13, 2014
Holy Mary Mother of God. Emanuel Newton with these spinning back fists. WOWWWWWWWWW. He’s got his calling card.
— Matt Erickson (@MMAjunkieMatt) September 13, 2014
A reverse triangle submission finish, then a spinning back fist knockout? OK, Bellator. I see you.
