The one-night, eight-man welterweight tournament that is being put on by BattleGrounds MMA has seen a change as Dennis Hallman and Chris Honeycutt are out of the tournament and taking their spots will be Jesse Taylor and Joe Ray.
The change was announced by the promotion on Tuesday in a press release.
Taylor and Ray will join the tournament field of Cody McKenzie, Brock Larsen, Luigi Fioravanti, David Mitchell, Roan Carneiro, and Trey Houston.
“We are thrilled to bring two more highly accomplished competitors like Jesse and Joe into the tournament fold, and are excited by the increased number of potential outcomes that their addition creates for this incredible, one-night event,” said BattleGrounds MMA President and Olympic wrestling gold medalist, Kenny Monday.
BattleGrounds MMA: O.N.E. will come from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 3rd and will be available on pay-per-view for $19.95 with Jim Ross and Chael Sonnen calling the fights.
