A women’s strawweight bout has been announced for the UFC Fight Night 56 card on November 8th in Brazil as Juliana Lima meets Nina Ansaroff.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 56 is expected to come from the Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil on November 8th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Jimi Manuwa.
Lima (6-2) was signed by the UFC earlier this year and lost her promotional debut to Joanna Jedrzejczyk by decision at UFC on FOX 12. Two of her six wins have come by TKO and both of those wins came in the first round.
Ansaroff (6-3) comes to the UFC after winning a fight at Invicta FC 7 at the end of last year and she is currently on a five fight winning streak. During her winning streak, all of the wins have come by stoppage and two of the wins have come in the first round.
