Another heavyweight bout has been booked for the UFC on FOX 13 card in December as Matt Mitrione will look for his third straight win when he meets Gabriel Gonzaga.
The fight booking was initially reported by Fox Sports and has now been confirmed by the UFC.
UFC on FOX 13 will come from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on December 13th and tickets for the event will go on sale October 10th.
Mitrione (8-3) is coming off a first round knockout win at UFC Fight Night 50 two weeks ago and seven of his eight professional wins have come by knockout. Both of his recent wins have come by knockout in the first round as he defeated Shawn Jordan back in March.
Gonzaga (16-8) has won four of his six fights since coming back to the UFC and he will enter this fight following a defeat to Stipe Miocic at UFC on FOX 10 in January. The defeat snapped a two fight winning streak and the fight against Miocic marked the first time he fought to a decision since 2010.
