Former lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz has ended his contract holdout and will be returning in December as he will meet Rafael dos Anjos in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 13.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC on FOX 13 will come from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on December 13th and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC champion Junior dos Santos meets Stipe Miocic.
Diaz (17-9) has been sitting on the sideline since late last year when he defeated Gray Maynard by knockout in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. He was looking for a new deal and UFC President Dana White recently stated that there was good dialogue between the two sides.
Dos Anjos (22-7) is coming off the biggest victory of his career as he defeated former UFC champion Benson Henderson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 49. He has won back to back fights and has won seven of his last eight.
