A bantamweight bout has been booked for the UFC Fight Night 56 card on November 8th in Brazil as Thomas Almeida will make his promotional debut against Tim Gorman.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC Fight Night 56 is expected to come from the Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil on November 8th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Jimi Manuwa.
Almeida (17-0) was recently signing by the UFC and all of his career victories have come by stoppage. Thirteen of his wins have come by TKO/KO and he is coming off a knockout victory in June at Legacy FC 32 against Caio Machado.
Gorman (8-3) lost his official UFC debut in April and the defeat snapped a three fight winning streak. During his career, six of his wins have come by TKO and three of those wins have come in under sixty seconds.
