An undisclosed injury has forced Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante out of his UFC Fight Night 56 bout against Ovince St. Preux and taking his place will be Francimar Barroso.
UFC officials announced the change on Friday.
UFC Fight Night 56 will come from the Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil on November 8th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Jimi Manuwa.
Barroso (16-4) enters this fight following a split decision defeat in March to Hans Stringer at UFC Fight Night 38. The victory snapped a four fight winning streak and he is 1-1 in the UFC.
St. Preux (16-6) is coming off a decision defeat to Ryan Bader in the main event of UFC Fight Night 47 last month. The defeat snapped a five fight winning streak and was his first defeat since losing to Gegard Mousasi in 2011.
