Augusto Montano has an opponent for his UFC debut on November 15th in Mexico City, Mexico as he will meet Chris Heatherly in a welterweight bout on the preliminary card of UFC 180.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday evening.
UFC 180 will come from the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defends the UFC heavyweight title against Fabricio Werdum.
Montano (13-1) has won four in a row and all of his victories have come by knockout or submission. His last fight came in August of last year as he defeated Jason Clayton by submission in the first round at Jackson’s MMA Series 11.
Heatherly (8-2, 1NC) lost his UFC debut in August as he was submitted by Ben Saunders at UFC Fight Night 49. The defeat snapped a four fight unbeaten streak and both of his career defeats have come by submission.
