In what may end up being a number one contender bout in the UFC women’s strawweight division, Claudia Gadelha and Joanna Jedrzejczyk have agreed to meet at UFC on FOX 13 on December 13th.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday.
UFC on FOX 13 will come from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on December 13th and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC champion Junior dos Santos meets Stipe Miocic.
Gadelha (12-0) made her UFC debut back in July and defeated Tina Lahdemaki by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 45. Two of her last three wins have come by decision and four of her last five fights have made it to the third round.
Jedrzejczyk (7-0) also made her UFC debut in July as she defeated Juliana Lima by unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 12. It was her fourth career win by decision and was her first fight to take place in the United States.
