Holly Holm recently singed with the UFC and she now has an opponent for his promotional debut as she will meet Ultimate Fighter alum Raquel Pennington at UFC 181 on December 6th.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday evening.
UFC 181 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by a title rematch as Johny Hendricks defends the UFC welterweight title against Robby Lawler.
Holm (7-0) made her mixed martial arts debut in 2011 and six of her seven wins have come by TKO/KO. Her last fight came in April as she won the Legacy FC women’s bantamweight title with a TKO victory against Juliana Werner.
Pennington (4-4) was a member of Team Tate during The Ultimate Fighter 18 and she has gone 1-1 in her two official UFC bouts. She will enter this fight following a defeat as she lost a split decision to Jessica Andrade at UFC 171 in March.
