The main event of Bellator 130 on Friday night in Mulvane. Kansas saw Emanuel Newton scored the second latest stoppage in a Bellator title fight as he submitted Linton Vassell in the fifth round to retain the Bellator light heavyweight title. 
Vassell was able to take the lead early in the fight with submission attempts, but Newton would come back in the championship rounds and eventually scored a submission win.
