The main event of UFC Fight Night 54 on Saturday in Canada was a welterweight bout as Rory MacDonald stopped Tarec Saffiedine in the third round and made his case for a title shot. 
MacDonald dropped Saffiedine with a left hand just after the one minute mark in the third round and finished the fight with punches on the ground.
