The Titan FC 31 Weigh-Ins took place today in Tampa, Florida and the fight card will no longer have a title fight as Mike Ricci missed weight by two pounds.
Today’s weigh-ins came from the USF Sun Dome on the campus of the University of South Florida and the same venue will host tomorrow night’s fight card.
Ricci was scheduled to face Yoshiyuki Yoshida for the promotions lightweight title. However, Ricci weighed in at 157 pounds and the bout will now move forward as a non-title, three round catchweight bout.
According to the Florida Boxing Commission and Titan FC officials, Ricci has been fined 20 percent of his fight purse.
