UFC Fight Night 54 took place on Saturday night at the Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and was headlined by Rory MacDonald stopping Tarec Saffiedine in the third round by TKO. 
According to Nielson sources, the preliminary card on Fox Sports 2 came in with 102,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings. In terms of demo ratings, the prelims drew a .14 in Persons 18-49, .25 Men 18-49, and .32 in Men 18-34.
Due to the MLB playoff game going into extra innings, the entire main card was shown on FX and the final hour of the broadcast was simulcasted on Fox Sports 1.
On FX, the fight card averaged 413,000 viewers with the demo numbers being .20 in Persons 18-49, .28 Men 18-49, and .27 in Men 18-34. The simulcast on Fox Sports 1 begin at 12:07 a.m. ET and average 799,000 viewers with the demo numbers being .50 in Persons 18-49, .71 Men 18-49, and .66 in Men 18-34.
During the final hour, FX and Fox Sports 1 combined for 1,267,000 viewers (468,000 on FX and 799,000 on Fox Sports 1) and the total viewership on the two networks in the final hour combined delivery is higher than all but two previous Fight Night cards on Fox Sports 1 to date (1,782,000 for Shogun-Sonnen on 8/17/13 and 1,400,000 for Machida-Mousasi on 2/15).
With the viewership from Big 12 Football, MLB Playoffs, and the UFC, Fox Sports 1 had its most watched 6a-6a day of all time, averaging 1,057,000 viewers over that span, eclipsing the previous 6a-6a record that was set on Friday (971,000 viewers).
With the viewership from Saturday, the main card average for UFC Fight Night/TUF Finale main cards on Fox Sports 1 in 2014 is now 825,000 in the preliminary ratings and the average for a Saturday main card on the cable sports network is 789,000 viewers.
