The final World Series of Fighting event of 2014 will take place at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on December 16th and the event will feature two title fights.
In the main event, Rousimar Palhares will make his first welterweight title defense as he is challenge by Jon Fitch, and Rick Glenn will defend the featherweight title in the co-main event against Lance Palmer.
The event along with the two title fights were announced by the World Series of Fighting on Thursday evening.

It was his 13th career win by submission and he has won back to back fights by submission. Fitch (26-6-1, 1NC) has won back to back fights and both wins have come in the World Series of Fighting. His most recent victory came in July as he defeated Dennis Hallman by decision.
Glenn (15-2-1) has gone unbeaten in his last 13 fights and became the featherweight champion in June when he defeated Georgi Karakhanyan. He is 3-0 in the promotion and two of those wins have come by TKO. Palmer (8-1) is out of the Team Alpha Male camp and has gone 1-1 in the promotion. Following a lost to Karakhanyan, he returned in June and defeated Nick LoBosco.
