An injury has forced Holly Holm to pull out of her UFC debut next month at UFC 181 and Raquel Pennington will now meet Ashlee Evans-Smith on the December 6th fight card.
UFC officials announced the fight change on Wednesday.
UFC 181 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by a title rematch as Johny Hendricks defends the UFC welterweight title against Robbie Lawler.
Evans-Smith (3-0) turned professional last year and holds a TKO win over Fallon Fox. Her most recent fight came in June as she defeated Marciea Allen at World Series of Fighting 10 by TKO in the third round.
Pennington (4-4) was a member of Team Tate during The Ultimate Fighter 18 and she has gone 1-1 in her two official UFC bouts. She will enter this fight following a defeat as she lost a split decision to Jessica Andrade at UFC 171 in March.
