UFC 180 took place on Saturday at the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico and the event was headlined by Fabricio Werdum winning the UFC interim heavyweight title with a TKO victory against Mark Hunt. 
Hunt took an early lead in the fight and dropped Werdum on two occasions but could not finish the fight. In the second round, Werdum landed a knee that lead to the end of the fight.
