A bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC 184 fight card on February 28th in California as Kid Yamamoto will meet Roman Salazar on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC 184 will come from the Staples Center and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against Vitor Belfort.
Yamamoto (18-6, 1NC) entered the UFC in 2011 and has dropped all three of his fights in the promotion. This will be his first fight since the beginning of 2012, which was a submission defeat to Vaughan Lee at UFC 144. Salazar (9-3) made his UFC debut last month and was submitted by Mitch Gagnon. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak and six of his victories have come by stoppage.
