A flyweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 59 fight card in January as Patrick Holohan will meet Shane Howell.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 59 will come from the TD Garden in Boston on January 18th and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Conor McGregor meets Dennis Siver.
Holohan (10-1-1) won his UFC debut back on July against Josh Sampo by submission and returned in October where he suffered his first career defeat as he lost a decision to Chris Kelades. Eight of his ten wins have come by submission and seven of those have come by either rear-naked or triangle choke.
Howell (13-8) signed with the UFC earlier this year and lost his debut in June against Ray Borg. The defeat snapped a seven fight winning streak and it was his first defeat since 2010.
