Three new fights have been added to the UFC on FOX 14 fight card on January 24th in Sweden with the fights being Stanislav Nedkov vs. Nikita Krylov, Konstantin Erokhin vs. Viktor Pesta, and Mairbek Taisumov vs. Yan Cabral.
The fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC on FOX 14 will come from the Tele 2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden and will be headlined by Alexander Gustafsson meets Anthony Johnson in a battle of top UFC light heavyweights.
Nedkov (12-1, 1NC) has been out of action since the beginning of last year when he suffered his first career defeat to Tom Watson at UFC on FUEL TV 7. That matchup was at middleweight and he is returning to the light heavyweight division. Krylov (17-4) has gone 2-2 in the UFC and dropped down to light heavyweight in March. After losing his 205 pound debut to Ovince St. Preux, he returned at UFC Fight Night 46 and defeated Cody Donovan by TKO.
Erokhin (9-1) is currently on a nine fight winning streak and this will be his UFC debut. Eight of his wins have come by knockout, including a win last month against Dave Huckaba. Pesta (9-1) was signed by the UFC earlier this year and lost his promotional debut to Ruslan Magomedov. Prior to the defeat, seven of his nine wins came by stoppage with four being by TKO/KO.
Taisumov (22-5) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year and has won two of his three fights in the promotion. He is coming off a TKO win at UFC Fight Night 53 against Marcin Bandel and he has won five of his last six fights. Cabral (12-1) has also won two of his three fights in the UFC and eleven of his wins have come by submission. He also walked away with a victory in his last fight as he submitted Naoyuki Kotani at UFC 179.
