A flyweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 59 card on January 18th in Boston as Tateki Matsuda will meet Joby Sanchez in a preliminary card bout.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday.
UFC Fight Night 59 will come from the TD Garden in Boston on January 18th and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Conor McGregor meets Dennis Siver.
Matsuda (10-6) was signed by the UFC earlier this year and lost his debut to Chris Beal at UFC Fight Night 50. Prior to that fight, he has won back to back fights including a submission victory against Robbie Leroux.
Sanchez (6-1) also lost his UFC debut earlier this year as he lost a decision to Wilson Reis at UFC Fight Night 49. All of his career victories have come by stoppage and two of those wins have come in the first round.
