Frankie Perez signs with UFC, replaces Francisco Trevino at UFC Fight Night 59 and meets Johnny Case

Francisco Trevino has pulled out of his UFC Fight Night 59 bout against Johnny Case and taking his spot in the fight will be UFC newcomer Frankie Perez.UFC Fight Night 59

UFC officials announced the fight change on Tuesday.

UFC Fight Night 59 will come from the TD Garden in Boston on January 18th and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Conor McGregor meets Dennis Siver.

Perez (9-1) was already schedule to fight in January as he was booked to face George Sheppard at Ring of Combat 50 in Atlantic City. His last fight took place in September at World Series of Fighting 13 and he won a decision against Tom Marcellino.

This is the third opponent for Case (19-4) on this fight card as he was initially scheduled to face Paul Felder before he was moved to another card. Case won his UFC debut earlier this year as he defeated Kazuki Tokudome by technical submission at UFC Fight Night 52.
