Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington rebooked for UFC 184 in Los Angeles

A women’s bantamweight bout that was initially scheduled to take place earlier this month has been rebooked as Holly Holm will make her UFC debut against Raquel Pennington at UFC 184 on February 28th in Los Angeles.

The fight booking was reported by MMA Junkie yesterday and was made official today by the UFC.

UFC 184 will come from the Staples Center and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against Vitor Belfort.

Holm (7-0) made her mixed martial arts debut in 2011 and six of her seven wins have come by TKO/KO. Her last fight came in April as she won the Legacy FC women’s bantamweight title with a TKO victory against Juliana Werner.

Pennington (5-4) was a member of Team Tate during The Ultimate Fighter 18 and she has won two of her three official UFC fights. At UFC 181, she faced Ashlee Evans-Smith and won by submission with one second left in the opening round.
