A bantamweight bout is now official for UFC Fight Night 61 as Iuri Alcantara will meet Frankie Saenz on the February 22nd fight card.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC earlier today.
UFC Fight Night 61 will come from the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Brazil and will be headlined by former UFC champion Rashad Evans facing Glover Teixeira in a light heavyweight bout.
Alcantara (31-5, 1NC) is currently on a three fight winning streak and has gone 4-1, 1NC in the UFC bantamweight division. His most recent victory came in September as he defeated Russell Doane by decision.
Saenz (9-2) signed with the UFC earlier this year and won his promotional debut in August with a decision over Nolan Ticman. He is currently on a five fight winning streak and two of those wins came by submission.
