Jon Madsen was scheduled to meet Jack May for the vacant Titan FC heavyweight title next Friday night at Titan FC 32 but he has been forced to pull out of the fight due to an injury suffered in training.Titan FC 32 Event Flyer (web)

Titan FC CEO Jeff Aronson broke the news on Friday’s edition of The MMA Report Live.

“I got a call late last night that Jon Madsen is actually out of the fight against Jack May,” Aronson said. ” He got injured in his last hard sparring. Thirty seconds left to go in his last round and he got hurt. He is going to be on the shelf for four weeks or so.”

At this time, it’s unknown if May will stay on the card and what the new main event of the card would be. Aronson did say that potentially, the new main event could be Steven Silver vs. Desmond Green for the vacant Titan FC featherweight title, which is already scheduled as the co-main event of this card.
