A featherweight bout has been added to the UFC on FOX 14 card on January 24th in Sweden as Mirsad Bektic will meet Alan Omer on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC on FOX 14 will come from the Tele 2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden and will be headlined by Alexander Gustafsson meets Anthony Johnson in a battle of top UFC light heavyweights.
Bektic (8-0) made his UFC debut earlier this year and defeated Chas Skelly by majority decision at UFC on FOX 11. It was only his second career victory by decision and four of his previous wins came by TKO/KO.
Omer (18-4) also entered the UFC earlier this year and lost a split decision to Jim Alers at UFC Fight Night 39. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak and sixteen of his victories have come by knockout or submission.
