A welterweight bout is the latest addition to the UFC 184 fight card as Australian Richard Walsh will meet Alan Jouban on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was initially reported by MMA Kanvas and has since been confirmed by the UFC.
UFC 184 will come from the Staples Center and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against Vitor Belfort.
Walsh (8-2) entered the UFC earlier this year after being on The Ultimate Fighter Nations and won his official UFC debut at the live finale against Chris Indich by unanimous decision. Following that victory, he was booked for UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan and lost a split decision to Kiichi Kunimoto.
Jouban (10-3) also made his UFC debut earlier this year and defeated UFC veteran Seth Baczynski by knockout at UFC Fight Night 47. Just like Walsh, he lost his second fight in the UFC as he lost a decision to Warlley Alves at UFC Fight Night 56 last month.
