Benson Henderson replaces Bobby Green, meets Jorge Masvidal in co-main event of UFC Fight Night 63

Bobby Green has pulled out of his recently announced bout at Jorge Masvidal at UFC Fight Night 63 and Masvidal will now meet Benson Henderson in the co-main event of the April 4 fight card.

UFC officials announced the change on Thursday.

UFC Fight Night 63 will come from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia and will be headlined by Chad Mendes meeting Ricardo Lamas in a featherweight bout.

Henderson (21-5) has dropped back to back fights including a decision to Donald Cerrone at this past Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 63. Since losing the UFC lightweight title to Anthony Pettis in 2013, he has gone 2-2 and the wins came against Josh Thomson and Rustam Khabilov.

Masvidal (28-8) is currently on a three fight winning streak and has won six of his last seven fights. During his winning streak, all three wins have come by decision and his last win came at UFC 178 against James Krause.
