On Friday, Titan FC officials announced three title fights that will take place at Titan FC 33: Night of Champions on March 20th at Mobile AeroFest in Alabama and eight new fight bookings have been announced.
The new fight bookings appeared on the Mobile AeroFest website, with the new fights being Cody Bollinger vs. Andre Harrison, Anthony Gutierrez vs. Austin Lyons, Ben Brewer vs. Keith Johnson, Brian Davidson vs. Estevan Payan, Belal Muhammad vs. Colton Smith, Elias Garcia vs. Matt Schnell, Bobby Cooper vs. Le’Ville Simpson, and Robert Washington vs. Luciano dos Santos.
Titan FC 33: Night of Champions will take place on Friday, March 20th in Mobile, Alabama and the fight card is scheduled to have title fights in the heavyweight, featherweight, and bantamweight divisions.
Bollinger (17-3, 1NC) was recently signed by Titan FC after he was released from his WSOF contract. He has won four of his last five fights and is coming off a 13-second knockout in November against Alexander Moses. Harrison (8-0) won his Titan FC debut in December as he defeated Aaon Neveu by decision. He holds three career wins by stoppage and two of them have come by TKO/KO.
Gutierrez (5-1) is coming off a submission defeat to Walel Watson at Titan FC 30 in September and all of his official professional fights have come in Titan FC. All of his victories have come in the first round and four of them have come by submission. Lyons (12-3) has won back to back fights and this will be his Titan FC debut. His most recent fight came in August as he defeated Ultimate Fighter 12 winner Jonathan Brookins at Legacy FC 34.
Brewer (10-2) has won back to back fights and this will be his Titan FC debut. Seven of his victories have come by submission and the submissions have come by kimura, guillotine choke, armbar, triangle choke, and rear-naked choke. Johnson (10-2) won his Titan FC debut in August as he defeated Fight Master finalist Mike Bronzoulis by submission. It was his fifth straight win and four of those wins came by submission.
Davidson (12-4) initially made his Titan FC debut in 2009 and he has won seven of his last eight fights. He is coming off a win against Kevin Smith at Titan FC 29 and six of his wins have come by TKO/KO. Payan (15-7, 1NC) has competed in UFC, Strikeforce, and Bellator in his career. This will be his Titan FC debut and he is 6-4 in his last ten fights.
Muhammad (6-0) made his professional debut in 2012 and is coming off a decision win against Chris Curtis in September. Two of his wins came in Bellator with the wins coming against Quinton McCottrell and A.J. Matthews. Smith (3-4) won The Ultimate Fighter 16, but has dropped three straight since winning the reality show. He was released by the UFC after losing to Carlos Diego Ferreira in June.
Garcia (3-0) is out of Rofusport and was signed by Titan in late 2014. His last victory came in October as he defeated Alex Figueroa by decision. Schnell (5-2) has won back to back fights in the first round and three of his last four. His most recent win came in November as he defeated Thomas Coleman by inverted triangle choke submission.
Cooper (11-4) will be stepping into the Titan FC cage for the fourth time and he has won two of his three previous fights in the promotion. After winning three in a row, he lost his last fight as Josh Tully beat him by decision. Simpson (5-1) has won three in a row since suffering his first career defeat. At Titan FC 30 in September, he defeated Richie Martinez by TKO and all three of his wins during his recent winning streak have come in the first round.
Washington (18-9, 1NC) signed with Titan FC last year and won his promotional debut against Blaine Thomas. Following that win, he returned one month later and lost a split decision to Gleristone Santos. Dos Santos (10-6) has won four of his last five, including a TKO win at Titan FC 29 against Jeremy Severn. Eight of his wins have come by stoppage and five of those wins have come in the first round.
