An undisclosed injury has forced Alan Omer out of his UFC on FOX 14 bout next week against Mirsad Bektic and replacing Omer will be UFC newcomer Paul Redmond.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC on FOX 14 will come from the Tele 2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden and will be headlined by Alexander Gustafsson meets Anthony Johnson in a battle of top UFC light heavyweights.
Redmond (10-4) has won back to back fights and seven of his last eight. He is coming off a submission win at Cage Warriors 70 in August against Alexis Savvidis and nine of his ten wins have come by knockout or submission.
Bektic (8-0) made his UFC debut last year and defeated Chas Skelly by majority decision at UFC on FOX 11. It was only his second career victory by decision and four of his previous wins came by TKO/KO.
