After winning three of his four UFC fights at bantamweight, Sergio Pettis is moving down to the flyweight division and will make his UFC 125 pound debut at UFC 185 against Ryan Benoit.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday.
UFC 185 will come from the American Airlines Center on March 14th and will be headlined by Anthony Pettis defending the UFC lightweight title against Rafael dos Anjos.
Pettis (12-1) has won back to back fights and this will be his first fight at flyweight since defeating Dillard Pegg in 2013 to become the RFA flyweight champion. His most recent victory came last month as he defeated Matt Hobar and all of his wins in the UFC have come by decision.
Benoit (7-3) made his UFC debut in 2013 and lost to Josh Sampo at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. This will be his first fight since making his UFC debut and all of his wins have come by stoppage.
