A middleweight bout is slated to take place at Bellator 134 next month in Connecticut as Tamdan McCrory will meet Jason Butcher on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced on Monday evening by McCrory’s management team on Facebook.
Bellator 134 will come from the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut on February 27 and will be headlined by Emanuel Newton defending the Bellator light heavyweight title against Liam McGeary.
McCrory (12-3) returned to the sport last year after being away since 2009 and defeated former Bellator tournament champion Brennan Ward by knockout in 20 seconds. It was his seventh career win by knockout and his eleventh stoppage victory overall. Butcher (8-1) was a season nine middleweight tournament semifinalist and he has gone 5-1 in Bellator.
