The UFC 182 Preliminary Card on Fox Sports 1 took place this past Saturday and featured Paul Felder winning a performance of the night bonus with a knockout victory against Danny Castillo.
According to Nielsen sources, the UFC 182 preliminary overnight viewership number for the prelims landed at 1.04 million viewers and this is up 23 percent from the UFC 181 number of 840,000 for the prelims.
UFC 182 was the highest-rated pay-per-view preliminary card in the People 18-49 demographic since UFC 168 (Weidman/Silva II), highest-rated in Men 18-49 since UFC 175 (Weidman/Machida) and most-watched since UFC 168.
Following the pay-per-view, the post fight showed also aired on Fox Sports 1 and was the most-watched ever in Fox Sports 1 history with 459,000 viewers. The UFC 182 post fight show viewership was 47 percent above the second-most watched ever, which was 313,000 viewers for the UFC 168 post fight show.
The viewership numbers for UFC pay-per-view prelim card in 2014 is below and the number on Saturday indicates that the pay-per-view likely did well in terms of buys.
