The UFC is heading to New Orleans on June 6 for UFC Fight Night 68 and the event will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as former title challenger Daniel Cormier meets Ryan Bader.
The event and fight booking was announced on Wednesday night’s edition of UFC Tonight on Fox Sports 1.
Cormier (15-1) is coming off a decision defeat to Jon Jones at the beginning of the year and he is 3-1 in the UFC. Prior to his last fight, he had won back to back fights by stoppage and one of those wins came against Dan Henderson.
Bader (19-4) is currently on a four fight winning streak and is coming off a win against Phil Davis. During his winning streak, all of the wins have come by unanimous or split decision.
UFC Fight Night 68: Cormier vs. Bader will come from the Smoothie King Center and tickets for the event will go on sale April 10.
