An undisclosed injury has forced Yancy Medeiros to pull out of his UFC 184 bout against Tony Ferguson and stepping in to replace Medeiros in the bout will be Gleison Tibau.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC 184 will come from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on February 27 and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the women’s bantamweight title against Cat Zingano.
Tibau (33-10) has won three in a row and five of his last six. His most recent win came in January as he defeated Norman Parke by split decision. Ferguson (17-3) is currently on a four fight winning streak and has gone 7-1 in the UFC. In last appearance in the cage came at UFC 181 in December as he defeated Abel Trujillo by submission.
